Saunders Architecture at Dezeen.com

I've just discovered an amazing Architecture firm called Saunders Architecture of Norway. They have built a series of huts and studios in Canada, they are not only beautiful but completely off-grid and have the most stunning settings.

I feel that this is the future for architecture in the modern world. Too many people, not enough space, so designing and building space saving and off-grid shelters would be a fantastic way to get architecture to the masses. I know this has already been done, using shipping containers etc. But it could be really developed further into a common form of housing for the next generations, who will not be able to afford to climb onto the property ladder.

See Dezeen for more pitcures of these projects.
